When in Doubt, Clean Up

Another of the ways to achieve immediate payoffs from this confront-what’s-true phase is to clean up. You never know how much of your attention is being held captive by a physical space until you do a thorough job of purging it and notice how different you then feel.

I spent a good part of the day tackling the clutter in my basement. My car’s trunk is full. Off to Goodwill tomorrow. After a week of feeling unfocused it was good to accomplish something, especially something with tangible results.
