Steps I took to achieve Goal 2: I rode my stationary bike for 15 minutes.
Is this enough? Yes.

Goal 3: Meditate

Steps I took to achieve Goal 3: Nothing.
Is this enough? No.

Goal 4: Write

Steps I took to achieve Goal 4: I wrote my morning pages.
Is this enough? Yes.

Goal 5: Maintain my possessions

Steps I took to achieve Goal 5: I decluttered some digital items.
Is this enough? Yes.

Goal 6: Read

Steps I took to achieve Goal 6: I read more of A Passage to Shambhala (The Explorers Guild #1). I also started reading Digital Minimalism. I also started reading a chapter a day of the Tao Te Ching.

Observations

I have a new routine to manage my medication changes. Time to get back on track.

I think I’m figuring out how to adjust my diet to accommodate my new meds. Hopefully today (Tuesday) will be a better day.

Highlights from Last Week

Not too many. I wrote most days. That was about it.

What Got in the Way / What Didn’t Work?

My doctor increased my diabetes medicine dosage at my last physical. One of the side effects is hypoglycemia, which hit me every day from Thursday – Saturday. It’s manageable but it wears me out. As a result, I didn’t accomplish much, if anything on my goals those days.

What I Learned from What Didn’t Work

I learned that I need to work more on managing my diabetes. I’m trying to eat more and smarter with my medicine to avoid hypoglycemic episodes.

I had a follow up doctor’s appointment to review my lab results. My meds have been adjusted to address my lack of energy. We’ll see how it works out.
